REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum requirement:
- Basic numeracy and literacy.
Experience:
- Appropriate general cleaning experience.
Inherent requirement of the job:
- Required to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
- Good communication skills.
DUTIES :
- Collection of healthcare risk waste within the hospital and at any other outside areas at external pick-up points.
- Effectively operate equipment to perform
cleaning functions within the waste area spaces. - Provide effective support to the General Foreman with regards to the Environmental Health and Hygiene Services in the hospital.
- Ensure compliance to waste trolley hygiene and waste collection policies.
