DEPUTY DIRECTOR: PERSONNEL REMUNERATION

SALARY : R896 436 – R1 055 958 per annum (Level 11), (an all-inclusive salary package)
CENTRE :
Head Office: Tshwane
REQUIREMENTS :
- An undergraduate qualification in Financial Management, BCom Accounting, or Management Accounting at NQF 6 as recognized by SAQA is required.
- Three (3) Years’ experience in an Assistant Director (Junior Management) level in Personnel remuneration within an Expenditure Management environment is required.
- Knowledge of the Public Service Regulations Act.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act.
- Knowledge of the South African Constitution.
- Understanding of departmental legislation as well as Human Resources legislation and prescripts.
- Knowledge of the National Treasury Regulations.
- A valid drivers’ license is an added advantage.

DUTIES :
The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks:
- Ensure and monitor the personnel remuneration processes and procedures in the Department.
- Ensure that expenditure patterns and any related disputes are managed in accordance with established financial standards and regulations.
- Manage and enforce measures to prevent
unauthorized, wasteful, and fruitless expenditure, ensuring compliance with financial governance frameworks.
