REQUIREMENTS :
- An undergraduate qualification in Digital Marketing, Public Relations or Communication and Web Management at NQF 6 as recognized by SAQA.
- Three (3) Years’ technical experience in Digital Media or Social Media Management is required.
- Knowledge of web and social media management is a must.
- Knowledge and understanding of Public Service Regulatory Framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of all Departmental Legislations and Prescripts.
- Knowledge of communication strategies and processes.
- A valid drivers’ license is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours.

DUTIES :
The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks:
- Facilitate and maintain the intranet, website and social media platforms for the department.
- Assume full editorial management responsibility for all digital platforms of the department.
- Management of information via the intranet, website and social media platforms.
- Ensuring effective distribution of updated information, programmes and campaigns via all digital platforms to ensure timely news and internal information sharing.
